Money gotcha in a chokehold?

I just got published in Money.com!

This article hits super close to home because my relationship with money has always been a bit of a philosophical rollercoaster.

In my early 20's I went through a phase where I thought money was scarce, hard to get, and the 'root of all evil'.

So I was holding myself back the entire time with this money attitude.

Building a business has helped me shift this mentality, though.

Money, after all, is just an ever-flowing current of giving & receiving that only gets clogged when you start to hoard it thinking, "I don't have enough!"

You can save, invest, and execute good financial practices while also allowing yourself to make purchases that help you become a better person (and contribute to a better world).

Because money is our way of saying YES to the things and people we support and NO to the ones we don't. And if you don't use your money, your voice is not heard.

So here's my challenge for you: embrace the money you have, be grateful for it, but don't cling to it. The more you cling, the more you enter a state of lack.

I know that's easier said than done, so if you feel strangled or disempowered by your financial situation, click here to read my article: "The Attitude You HAVE to Ditch If You Want to Be Rich"
