Let's talk about what to do with all your different PASSIONS. Because if you're like me, you've got more than one. And before I started my business, I had too many ideas of what to do with all of them.
I wanted to mix in dance, travel, coaching, writing, speaking, and making money (yes that’s a passion) into one thing.
Since I couldn’t see how to do that at first, I just stood there not doing anything. Total inaction. I like to call it PASSION PARALYSIS.
For whatever reason, I believed that I couldn't possibly create a business that would fulfill all parts of me...
But then I heard something one day, “Just start somewhere.”
Start with the one thing that energizes you the most right now.
Start with the one thing you think could truly help and serve the most people.
Start with the one thing that you could probably do for the rest of your life.
Because that one thing can branch out and include all your other passions at some point too.
Like Oprah says, "You CAN have it all. You just can't have it all at once."
For me that one thing was (and is) coaching. It’s the root of my business. Travel + dance are the branches. I like it that way, it keeps me energized, excited, and gives me that feeling of changing the world.
After I got going, travel ended up being an integral part of my business organically cuz I go around the U.S. to do live workshops.
Also I’m in Spain right now with the fam. And I didn’t have to ask or tell anyone about it. That’s gold right there.
Dance is indirectly a part of my biz because I have total control of my schedule. If I wanna take a class, participate in a project, or shoot a dance video on the fly, I can. The spontaneous artist in me can’t resist having a flexible schedule.
And eventually my retreats will probs have dance workshops in them too, weeee!
But enough about me...
