As of Monday, Mercury came out of retrograde and is officially direct. Same with Jupiter, woo! We’re slowly but surely coming out of the retrograde cray.
So funny cuz two days into Mercury retrograde, friends were asking me, “Is Mercury in retrograde?” And when I said yes, they were surprised. Like their intuition just KNEW.
That was around the end of September, when there were also like seven other planets in retrograde haha. When that happens, some astrologers like to call it 'retrograde season' since farther, longer-transiting planets, like Jupiter backspin for months at a time, and this year that was pretty much all summer.
The ones that are right next to us tho? Those are the backspins you can almost feel. I’ve definitely felt the effects of this past one on tech and travel, categories that Mercury rules. Take the full-day social media outage on October 5th for example (which was kinda nice, right?).
I wanna be clear about something though: when planets are in retrograde it doesn’t mean you have to stop, drop, and do nothing.
It’s an invitation for you to expect the unexpected and to work with that “re” energy (think reassess, realign, revisit, refine, recover, and so on).
