Two weeks into 2020, on a mid-January New York City night, I sat down to have dinner with one of my favorite people in the world: Susie Moore.
She had just moved to Miami exactly as I moved to NY (sad lol) and was in town for a bit, so we decided to meet up.
Her husband and another friend had joined us, and as they chatted away, she asked me about my love life. I responded with a hilariously common response for female entrepreneurs: "I'm focusing on my business right now."
To which she replied, "You can have it all, Kimberly. Why not start dating now?"
I didn't have any good reason not to, so she followed with, "Is there a block for you? I would stay open to what might be out there."
This was the exact loving and clear kick in the butt that I needed to realize I was depriving myself of something that I really did want.
Someone by my side, someone to share my life with. And so the seeds of intention to start dating were planted.
Less than nine months later, I met my now-partner Angelo in the middle of a full-blown pandemic. And yes, it felt easy.
This is just one example of Susie's magic. The way she sees your limitations from miles away, then gives you permission to set them aside and just DO the damn thing.
Her question to me is always, "Why not now?" And that one question has made my life so much fuller, happier, and easier...
Best of all, she's got a new book coming out called, "Let It Be Easy."
And I created this video to pinpoint my favorite parts so far.
Some of the gems of Susie wisdom I share is...
A Beyoncé song and lyric that will make change and disappointment a whole lot easier.
Surprising twists on the 'grass is greener' phenomenon and how to love the life you have now.
The #1 best coaching question to ask yourself when things feel out-of-control.
Click here to watch and if you're feeling all this talk about ease make sure you pre-order Susie's new book "Let It Be Easy" (in my opinion it's her best yet).
All my love,
Kimberly
