Two days ago, I got back from an incredible spiritual event in Austin. We weren't sitting in meditation or chanting all weekend though, which would've been cool too...
We were shaking our asses, screaming, crying, connecting with our bodies, and at some points, I was even doing handstands, flips, and rolling around on the floor. Basically it was a room full of women like me who love to get spiritual and get down. Yes!
To me, it felt perfect because integrating every part of who I am is a spiritual practice, which is why I celebrate my spicy Gemini twin who loves reggaeton and Lil' Jon. I also honor my soft Gemini twin who needs alone time and long baths LOL.
It feels good to accept and love all parts of myself and the emotions that come with it like my rage, my sadness, my joy and so on. Do you feel like you give yourself that same freedom too? Or do you resist it?
