Are my friends and family ok? What about these abandoned pets? How is it possible that so many homes have burned down?
I usually steer clear of the news unless I feel like I need to know something specific so I just have little bits and pieces of information but wow. This is pretty unsettling.
A couple years ago, there were some intense fires in Canada that had heavy smoke floating over to NYC.
While I was temporarily affected by the inability to take a clean breath of fresh air, I wasn't worried about losing my apartment or everything in it.
The thought of that feels destabilizing and, although I'm not in LA, the very idea of having to evacuate like that has my root chakra feeling a little antsy.

Movement. But not just any 'go for a walk' or repetitive movement, even though that's nice too.
I'm talking about intuitive movement. The kind that stems from your soul and maybe doesn't look pretty or logically make sense but somehow feels so true and good to you.
This type of movement generates a sense of total abandon and liberation as you let your limbs be guided by an energetic force inside and outside of you. So cool.
