3 Ways You Can Turn Your Passion into a Profit

Ahhh the age old question: “What do you want to be when you grow up?” We didn’t have a clue what we were in for as kids, but I distinctly remember always saying I wanted to be a teacher. Maybe because I loved school (and my teachers) so much and I wanted to be just like them.

But it wasn’t until I started writing this that I realized I am a teacher. That I have manifested my childhood dream into a reality. And I’m getting paid for it.

Yeah, getting paid to do what you love seems cliche, over-rated, and most of the time, downright impossible.

That’s why I never thought that Rehumanize Me would sell. I had always thought that it’d be a passion project. A hobby. Something that supplemented my day to day.

But it has turned into way more than that.

And we want to help you do the same. Here’s three questions to ask yourself if you want to turn your passion into a profit:

1. Do you have something to teach or share with the world?

Whether it’s how to compost, how to travel the world, or how to code, there are always people that need the knowledge or information you have. Remember, what comes easy to you can be MIRACULOUS to somebody else.

2. Can you create an experience that benefits a specific audience?

For example, if you know that people struggle with not being creative enough, and you just so happen to be a pretty good artist, is there a place you could host an Art after Dark workshop? I would definitely pay for that by the way so let me know if you host one LOL.

3. Is there a product that you’re REALLY good at making?

DIY make-up or household essentials, knitted goods, caricatures of dogs, you name it! Someone would probably buy it. You just have to put it out there!
