Sun Energy Meditation 🌞

I googled Mexican summer solstice traditions just now and discovered something cool...

"The main pyramid at Chichén Itzá, known as the Temple of Kukulcan, is constructed in such a way that during the Summer Solstice the sun casts perfect shadows on the the south and west sides so that it looks to be split in two."

Did you know that?? I would LOVE to see that in person someday!

Funnily enough, Angelo and I just booked a 2-year anniversary trip to Playa del Carmen, which is just 10 minutes away from Chichen Itza. Not during any equinox or solstice though! Next time :)

I'll also be in Mexico this coming week to visit my Abuelito and it got me thinking about my own obsession with the sun and the moon, which I believe started in my Abuelita's shop when I was a little girl...

She used to have sun + moon sculptures, ceramic and paintings galore, which left such a big impression on me and helped me realize the importance of these two galactic entities.

Even from a young age, I remember using art projects as an opportunity to paint cool sun and moon dedications.

One time we got the chance to enter into a contest where we were told to paint our best creation on a small 3D plaster frog. If you won, your frog would be turned into a human-size 3D frog. Kinda weird now that I think about it HA.

Guess what I painted...a frog that had half of its body covered in the sun and clouds and half covered in the moon and stars...

I thought I was so original LOL. And I loved it. Didn't win though haha!

But that didn't stop me from becoming even more connected to the sun.

So I wanted to share some of that sun love with you today with a meditation dedicated to the Summer Solstice that happened yesterday.

In this video, I share...

  • A meditation to help you connect with your own sun energy.

  • The sun energy cleanse method I've never shared before.

  • Breath work to help you tame and sustain your inner fire.

Click here to meditate with me and let's honor the nature that surrounds us. After all, without the sun we would be nothing!

All my love,

Kimberly
