Right now, I'm in Mexico with my family for my cousin's wedding and I've been thinking a lot about what my abuela would be thinking right now. If she were alive, I bet she'd be excited to see the first wedding of a granddaughter, to be with the whole family again, to pass the torch on to the next generation.

Recently, I've been walking around the city a lot more, letting the cool, supple spring breeze blow through my hair. I hear more birds chirping, more kids playing outside, more life all around. It's springtime baby. Literally cuz tonight marks the official Spring Equinox!

Yesterday, I was at a co-working space in the city sitting across from my friend and while I was writing this email, I started getting all sweaty thinking about something that makes me a little mad…something that holds a lot of people back, especially women...something that can keep you stuck for months, years, or even decades. Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you're feeling a loving warmth in your heart today, whether it's love for yourself, love for another, or love in general. And I'm laughing thinking of warmth right now cuz I got back from Brazil two days ago where it was in the 80s and feeling like 90s...but this morning, I woke up at 5:30am and went to an OUTDOORS early morning dance party in NYC with Angelo and some friends where it was in the 20s feeling like 10 LOL.
